Senior General Than Shwe receives Commander-in-Chief of Royal Thai Army and party

NAY PYI TAW, 17 Feb — Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council of the Union of Myanmar Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Than Shwe received a visiting Thai goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army General Anupong Paojinda at Bayintnaung Yeiktha here at 12.30 pm today.
Also present were Vice-Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Maung Aye, Member of the SPDC General Thura Shwe Mann of the Ministry of Defence, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Rear- Admiral Nyan Tun, Commander-in-Chief (Air) Lt-Gen Myat Hein, Lt-Gen Ye Myint of the Ministry of Defence, Minister for Foreign Affairs U Nyan Win and Myanmar Military Attaché to Thailand Col Win Maung, Thai Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Bansarn Bunnag and Thai Defence Attaché and Army Attaché Colonel Ekachai Harnpoonvittaya.
