YANGON, 23 Feb—Secretary-1 of the State Peace and Development Council of the Union of Myanmar
Quartermaster-General Lt-Gen Thiha Thura Tin Aung Myint Oo and wife Daw Khin Saw Hnin attended the
reception to mark the Russian Armed Forces Day held at Chatrium Hotel in Tamwe Township, Yangon this
evening. Also present on the occasion together with Secretary-1 of the SPDC Quartermaster-General Lt-
Gen Thiha Thura Tin Aung Myint Oo and wife were Lt-Gen Myint Swe of the Ministry of Defence and wife
Daw Khin Thet Htay, senior military officers and their wives, ambassadors, chargé d’ Affaires ai and military
attaches from embassies in Yangon and their wives, and guests. Secretary-1 of the SPDC Quartermaster-General Lt-Gen Thiha Thura Tin Aung Myint Oo and wife Daw Khin Saw Hnin arrived at Chatrium Hotel at 6.45 pm and they were welcomed by Military Attaché Colonel Alexander V Svintsovskiy of the Russian Federation and responsible persons. Afterwards, Secretary-1 of the SPDC Quartermaster- General Lt-Gen Thiha Thura Tin Aung Myint Oo and Military Attaché Colonel Alexander VS vintsovskiy cordially greeted the guests.
