YANGON, 1 Feb — The opening of the convocation hall of Myanmar Maritime University was held at the university in Thilawa region, here this morning.
Chairman of Myanmar Maritime University Council Minister for Transport Maj-Gen Thein Swe, Deputy Minister Col Nyan Tun Aung and officials were present. The minister formally unveiled the plaque of the convocation hall and sprinkled scented water on it.
Next, the deputy minister and the rector also sprinkled scented water on the plaque.
The minister presented special gold medal, gold Rina Award of royal vessel architect association (England), HPH gold award of Hutchison Port Holding (Hong Kong) and outstanding awards to the winner students.
