Prime Minister receives UNSG’s Special Advisor

NAY PYI TAW, 3 Feb—Prime Minister General Thein Sein of the Union of Myanmar received Special Advisor to the Secretary-General of the United Nations Mr Ibrahim Agboola Gambari at Zeyathiri Beikman on Konmyinttha in Yangon at 3.p.m. today. Also present at the meeting together with Prime
Minister General Thein Sein were Minister for Foreign Affairs U Nyan Win, Minister for National Planning and Economic Development U Soe Tha, Minister for Information Brig-Gen Kyaw Hsan, Minister for Culture Maj-Gen Khin Aung Myint, Minister for Health Dr Kyaw Myint, the DirectorGeneral of the Government Office, the DirectorGeneral of International Organizations and Economic Department and the Deputy DirectorGeneral of Protocol Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Spokes Authoritative Team of the State Peace and Development Council met with Special Advisor to the Secretary-General of the United Nations Mr Ibrahim Agboola Gambari at the fivestorey guest house in Yangon at 1.p.m. today for the second time.
Also present on the occasion were Leader f the Spokes Authoritative Team of the SPDC Minister for Information Brig-Gen Kyaw Hsan, members Minister for Foreign Affairs U Nyan Win and Minister for Culture Maj-Gen Khin Aung Myint.
In the morning, Mr Gambari met with independent representatives-elect and responsible person of other organizations at Seinle Kantha State House separately.
Mr Gambari left Yangon by air in the evening. M
