YANGON , 28 Sept--Secretary-1 of the State Peace and Development Council of the Union of Myanmar Lt-Gen Thiha Thura Tin Aung Myint Oo received Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Union of Myanmar Mr Bhaskar Kumar Mitra, who had completed his tour of duty, at the hall at 9th Also present at the call were Minister for Religious Affairs Brig-Gen Thura Myint Maung, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Thu and Director-General Col Kyaw Kyaw Win of the State Peace and Development Council Office.
After the call, the Secretary-1 accepted 70 pictures depicting the life of the Buddha donated by the Indian Ambassador for Uppatasanti Pagoda being built in Nay Pyi Taw, and spoke words of thanks. Next, the Secretary-1 viewed the pictures.
