Post-primary school in Ywathagyi Village in Dagon Myothit (South) Township gets new building

YANGON, 3 Sept — A new building for postprimary school was opened in Ywathagyi Village
in Dagon Myothit (South) Township this morning, attended by Lt- Gen Myint Swe of the Ministry of Defence. The one-storey steel building, 120 feet long and 30 feet wide, was constructed under the supervision of Yangon Division Union Solidarity and Development
Association. The newly-opened school is the second one donated by Yangon Division USDA.
Chairman of Yangon Division Peace and Development Council Commander of Yangon Command Brig-Gen Win Myint, CEC member of the USDA (Yangon Division in-charge) U Aung Thein Lin and officials formally opened the building. Next, Lt-Gen Myint Swe inspected the new building.
Lt-Gen Myint Swe, the commander, the CEC member of the USDA (Yangon Division incharge) and party inspected construction of No. 4 Basic Education Middle School in Dagon Myothit (North) Township, No. 28 and No. 18 BEPSs in Dagon Myothit (South) Township and No. 7 BEPS in Thingangyun Township and viewed the participation of members
of the USDA and social organizations in the construction of the building.
During the cyclonic storm, 67 basic education schools in Yangon Division were destroyed. Yangon Division USDA is rebuilding the damaged schools and constructed new buildings for two schools and donating desks. The new buildings are of steel structure.
