NAY PYI TAW, 16 July— Bago Division (West) Union Solidarity and Development Association on 12 July donated Waso robes and stationery to 27 monasteries in Bago Division (West) at theceremony held at Dhammawdaya monastery in Hmokshei Village-tract, Pyay.
CEC Member of USDA Deputy Minister Waso robes offered to monasteries in Bago Division (West) for Energy Brig-Gen Than Htay presented the donations to Sayadaws.
In the afternoon, the CEC member visited Myaukchawgon altruistic school in Kyangin and presented Waso robes and alms to the abbot; stationery to the monastic education school; and cash assistance for regional development tasks to Township USDA and War Veterans Association.
He also attended the ceremony to donate stationery to monastic education schools at Myo Shwekyaung monastery in Myanaung and the ceremony to honour outstanding students, donate stationery and planted trees at Myanaung BEHS on 13 July.
