YANGON, 11 July—Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation held the fourth Waso robe offeringceremony at the meeting hall of MWAF on Thanlwin road in Bahan Township here this morning.
It was attended by MWAF President Daw Khin Khin Win, the Vice-Presidents and CEC members, the CEC members of Myanmar Maternal and Child Welfare Association, distinguished guests, the patron of Yangon Division WAO and members and members of MWAF. The congregation received the Five Percepts from Sayadaw Maha Gandavacaka Pandita Bhaddanta Dhamma Siri of Maha Bawdi monastery and members of the Sangha recited the partitas. Next, the president, the vice-presidents and those present offered Waso robes and provisions to the members of the Sangha. The congregation shared the merits gained and they offered day meal to the members of the Sangha.
