YANGON, 29 June—Under the arrangements of the Ministry of Health, two medical teams comprising house surgeons left here for storm-hit regions in Yangon and Ayeyawady Divisions this morning. Medical Superintendent of Yangon General Hospital Dr Daw Nu Nu Tha and officials greeted them and provided them with medicines and medical equipment. The team comprising 59 house surgeons of University of Medicine-1 (Yangon) led by four super-visors went to Kyauktan, Twantay, Kawhmu and Kungyangon townships in Yangon Division and the team comprising 40 house surgeons of University of Medicine-2 (Yangon) along with their four supervisors went to Myaungmya, Kyaiklat, Maubin and Wakhema townships in Ayeyawady Division. They will perform diseases control, medical treatment and health education task in respective townships till 12 July.—MNA
