Sports Minister supervises reconstruction of Kawhmu Township

YANGON, 16 July— Member of National Disaster Preparedness Central Committee Minister for Sports Brig-Gen Thura Aye Myint, accompanied by officials of Kawhmu Township Peace and Development Council and personnel of Thawdarwin Construction Company, arrived at Kaikmonhtow pagoda in Latkhaik village, Kawhmu Township, Yangon South District yesterday morning. The Minister fulfilled the need for repairing of the prayer hall damaged by the storm. He paid obeisance to Nyan monastery Sayadaw of Latkhaik village and offered provisions to the Sayadaw.
At the Warbalaukthauk village, the minister and party inspected the students learning at village BEHS and presented desks, foodstuffs and sport equipments.
The minister gave instruction on station hospital and religious buildings. At the high school (branch) of Htanmanaing village, the minister inspected learning of students and presented foodstuff and sports equipments to the students.
