Secretary-1 attends opening of 2nd Nay Pyi Taw Inter-Ministry Men’s Football Tournament 2008

NAY PYI TAW, 11 July — A ceremony to open the 2nd Nay Pyi Taw Inter-Ministry Men’s
Football Tournament 2008 was held at No. 1 Nay Pyi Taw Sports Ground, here, this afternoon,
attended by Chairman of Myanmar National Olympic Council Secretary- 1 of the State Peaceand Development Council Lt-Gen Thiha Thura Tin Aung Myint Oo. Also present on the occasion were Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Wai Lwin, ministers, Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee Minister for Sports Brig-Gen Thura Aye Myint and members, deputy ministers, the director- general of the SPDC Office and departmental heads, the President of Myanmar Football Federation and responsible persons, footballers, staff families and guests. First, the footballers saluted the Chairman of the Myanmar Olympic Committee.
