Prizes were given to a total of 209 outstanding students from Myanmar Aerospace Engineering University,Technological Universities,Colleges, Institutes and Computer Universities who had won distinctions in their examinations for 2007-2008 academic year and 6 students in Central Level English Debate Competition at the Convocation Hall of Mandalay Technological University.Minister for Science and Technology U Thaung attended the prize presentation ceremony, made a speech on the occasion and presented prizes to outstanding students.It was also attended by the directors-general of the ministry, rectors from respective universities, the deputy directors-general,principals, professors,heads of department,faculty members,outstanding students and their parents and guests. Minister U Thaung handed prizes to a total of 18 students who had got highest scores in the entire nation, a winner at senior level of English Debate Competition and a winner at junior level and then he posed for a documentary photo together with prize winners.Next, the directorsgeneral,rectors, deputy directors-general and principals presented prizes to outstanding students and then two students spoke words of thanks.
