The Machine and Machine Tools Factory of the Ministry of Industry-2 was inaugurated in Myaing Township, Pakokku District, Magway Division the other day,graced by the presence of Prime Minister General Thein Sein.Industrial sector plays a pivotal role in building of a new nation and the government has established industrial zones and branch zones nationwide.Inauguration of the factory is a new chapter for development of industrial sector of the State. The government has been making endeavours to transform the nation to become a modern developed one. Building a nation is not a matter of routine and the government is implementing special projects that will really serve the interest of the people. Endeavours are being made to narrow development gap among the regions in the Union and to achieve equitable development in all regions.For industrial development of the country, the government is establishing industries with the intention of bringing about development in agro-based industries,increase of quantity of the products of the factories and high quality, production of new machinery items for industrial use. It is thereby laying basic foundations to transform the nation into an industrialized one.Priority is being given to the regions where requirements are badly in need. All the tasks the government is implementing are for development of local people, for alleviation of poverty and for promotion of social life of the people.The people on their part are to participate in the tasks to lay down better foundations for the emergence of a peaceful modern developed nation through perseverance, diligence, and consolidated unity after realizing the goodwill of the government.
