General Banking Services Course opens


The opening ceremony of General Banking Services Course No.13 organized by Banks Supervisory Association at Myanmar Banks’ Association this morning, with an address by Deputy Minister for Finance and Revenue Col Hla Thein Swe. Present on the occasion were directors-general and managing directors of departments and enterprises under the ministry, executives of Myanmar Banks’ Association, guests, instructors and trainees. Speaking on the occasion, the deputy minister said that the continuous conduct of banking services training courses has aimed at developing banking services and higher proficiency of bank staff and that the trainees are to take advantage of knowledge and basic concepts acquired from the course, in the mean time to seek for more international experiences is essential, he added. Altogether 45 trainees two from Central Bank of Myanmar, 43 from state-owned and private banks are attending the 10- week course.
