Jointly organized byThailand-based SoutheastAsian Ministers ofEducation Organization,Regional Center forArchaeology and FineArts, SEMEO SPAFA andASEAN Foundation, theopening of Workshop onYouth, Culture andDevelopment hosted byMyanmar was held atMandalay Hotel in Mandalay this morning.Rector ofNational Culture and FineArts University (Yangon)U Tin Soe made anopening address and Dr.Pisit Charoenwongsa,director of Southeast AsianMinisters of EducationOrganization, regionalCenter for Archaeologyand Fine Arts, SEMEOSPAFA gave accounts ofthe workshop.The workshopwhich was alternatelyhosted by ASEAN membercountries will be held inMandalay, Myanmar up to26 April. A total of 39 youthdelegates from thedepartments under theMinistry of Culture,National Culture and FineArts Universities and socialorganizations are attendingthe opening of workshop.
