Deputy Minister for Energy Brig-Gen Than Htay on 2 May looked into upgrading of the villageto- village road linking Thegon Village and Hlegon Village on Gyobingauk Township,
Bago Divison (West) and met with local people. After making a speech, the deputy minister made cash donations for upgrading the road. On arrival at Thayetpinseik Village in Okpo Township, the deputy minister attended the ceremony to open the tube-well and water tank and formally opened the facilities. After that, Deputy Minister Brig-Gen Than Htay donated cash for rural water supply. Later, he attended the ceremony to donate computers held at Magyikwin Village BEHS in Letpadan Township and made a speech on the occasion. On 3 May, the deputy
minister inspected the upgrading of earth road linking Myaukchawgon Village and Nyaunggon
Village in Hmawby Township and renovation of Nyaunggon Village BEPS and made cash donations
for the school.
