A ceremony to mark the 63rd Fire Brigade Day was held at Aungmyay Mantalar Sport Ground in Aungmyay Thazan Township, Mandalay on 5 May. It was attended by Chairman of Mandalay Division Peace and Development Council Commander of Central Command Maj-Gen Tin Ngwe, Chairman of Mandalay City Development Committee Mayor Brig-Gen Phone Zaw Han, the deputy commander, the deputy chief justice of Supreme Court (Upper Myanmar) and members, division level departmental officials, the principal of Central Fire Service Training School and those from Mandalay Division Fire Service Department and guests. After making an opening speech, the commander presented prizes to the prize-winners. Next, the commander and officials viewed the demonstration of putting out the fires of fire brigade members and presented prizes to them.
