NAY PYI TAW, 9Nov—Prime Minister of the Union of Myanmar General Thein Sein attended the 3rd Summit of Ayeyawady-Chao P h r a y a - M e k o n g Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) at Room 339 of National Convention Centre in Hanoi of Vietnam at 9.45 a.m on 7 November. Also present at the summit were Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen, Laotian Prime Minister Mr Bouasone Bouphavanh, Thai Prime Minister Mr Somchai Wongsawat, Vietnamese Prime Minister Mr Nguyen Tan Dung, Minister for Foreign Affairs

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen and Prime Minister Prime Minister General Thein Sein attends 3rd Summit of ACMECS Mr Bouasone Bouphavanh of Lao PDR discussed progress of cooperation between ACMECS member countries and future tasks. Prime Minister General Thein Sein participated in discussions on reviewing the cooperation of ACMECS and future tasks. Thai Prime Minister Mr Somchai Wongsawat discussed improvementof cooperation and future prospects of ACMECS cooperation.
