Health Deputy Minister attends ASEAN Health Ministers meeting

The Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for Health Dr Paing Soe attended the 9
th ASEAN Health Ministers meeting, the 3 rd ASEAN plus Three Health Ministers meeting and the 2 nd ASEAN-China Health Ministers meeting held at Manila, the Philippines from 7 to 10 October. The deputy minister delivered an address at the 9 th ASEAN Health Mandalay Division on 12 October.The minister urged them to strive for timely completion of plans and inspected systematic keeping of files in the office.
On 13 October, the minister also met with personnel at the Myingyan District Immigration and National Registration Department in Myingyan and looked into systematic keeping of files in the office.

The 3rd ASEAN plus Three Health Ministers meeting was held on 10 October. Those present agreed to make stronger collaboration in addressing health concerns.
The deputy minister made a speech at the 2 nd ASEAN+China Health Ministers meeting held on 10 October. At the meeting, the health ministers and highranking officials held discussions on sharing of health information, conducting courses and exchange of experiences and laid down future tasks.
The deputy minister and delegation members arrived back here on 13 October.
