The ninth Myanmar Traditional Medicine Practitioners’ Conference was held at the Ministry of Health in Nay Pyi Taw the other day. In his message to the conference, Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council SeniorGeneral Than Shwe urged Myanmar traditional medicine practitioners to make collaborative efforts with might and main
through the conference, taking full advantage of the encouragement and assistance of the government in order to
provide better health care to the people across the nation including rural and border areas. The Head of State also exhorted them to improve Myanmar traditional medicine practitioners’ therapies and potency of traditional medicines through advanced methods and raise the standard of Myanmar traditional medicine.
