After realizing the genuine goodwill of the Tatmadaw Government,the Shan State National Army(Brigade-6)returned to the legal fold on 11 June 1995 to serve the interests of the race and religion of the Shan nationals and build unity among the national races.It unconditionally exchanged arms for peace on 23 July 2005.It joining hands with the Tatmadaw Government is undertaking regional development tasks with might and main supporting the Tatmadaw Government.
Our nationals believed in Non-disintegration of the Union,Non-disintegration of the National Solidarity and Perpetuation of the Sovereignty after keeping political outlooks and awareness dynamic.
The Shan State National Army,Brigade-6 hereby declares that it will participate in the implementation of smooth transition to democracy with the developments of the State without forming alliance and cooperating with any person or party.
