NAY PYI TAW, 17 July — Under the aegis of Minister for Culture Maj-Gen Khin Aung Myint and wife Daw Khin Pyone, staff families of the Ministry of Culture held the third Waso robes offering ceremony at the ministry, here, yesterday morning.Minister Maj-Gen Khin Aung Myint, wife Daw Khin Pyone, departmental heads and wellwishers donated Waso robes and alms to 10 members of the Sangha from three Monasteries.
Likewise, staff of Archaeology, National Museum and Library Department (South), the National Museum and the National Library held the Waso robes offering ceremony at Byugon Pariyatti Monastery in Gyogon of Insein Township, the ANMLD (North) and those of the Mandalay Cultural Museum and the Library at Maha Khemikayama Thitseint Monastery of Aungmyethazan Township.
